In a drake moment for comic book fans, Tim Drake, the third Robin, was shown going on a date with a boy named Bernard. In many ways it's not a "bi relationship" although it is - we just don't often use it as a society. As someone who's talked about Tim x Kon, I've probably called it a "gay relationship" as that's shorthand for guy x guy pairing.

To be fair, much of Bernard’s past remains a mystery, and it could later be revealed that he is bisexual like Tim, meaning he isn’t gay as readers have assumed. As a supporting character, Bernard gave Tim a sense of a social life beyond fighting crime with Batman.

He only appeared a handful of times, until he returned in comics with Batman: Urban Legends 5. Robin has come out as bisexual in the latest Batman comic. It’s not just a random update. While Willingham criticized the vastly different version from his own, there are still opportunities for gay to be drawn with his run on Robin.
